Deepika Padukone born on January 5th 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark is an Indian supermodel turned Bollywood actress.
Deepika Padukone was born to Prakash Padukone, an ace Indian badminton player and his wife Ujjala Padukone, a travel executive. Before she turned one, Deepika Padukone's family moved back to India settling in Bangalore. Deepika Padukone has a younger sister named Anisha Padukone.
Deepika Padukone has completed her school studies from Sophia High School in Bangalore and did her ICSE studies at Mount Carmel College. Like her father Deepika Padukone too played badminton at the state level. She finally abandoned playing badminton as it seems to be interfering with her ICSE studies and examination. However Deepika Padukone has been dreaming of a career in modeling.
