This Chacha- Bhatija duo have their own style of composition that is evident from the kind of music their films have.

Dilip Sen was born to father Jamaal Sen.Jamaal Sen's other silbling is Shamboo Sen. Jamaal Sen has worked with singers like Mubarak Begum and Noor Jehan. Dilip started off his career with his own uncle Sameer Sen and since then this uncle-nephew duo have done everything from Bhajans and Ghazals.The uncle - nephew team have no dearth of experience in the music making industry.Sameer Sen, the other half of the duo was an assistant to the other duo comprising of classical musicians Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma and Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, the regulars for Yash Chopra since Silsila.

Their first opportunity came in the year 1992 with 'Jeena Marna Tere Sang' starring Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. It was the Yash Raj film’s presentation Aaina (1993) and Yeh Dillagi (1994) that brought them the success and more importantly the critical acclaim that never graced them.Their cavalcade followed with Haqeeqat (1995), Raghuveer (1995) , Tu Chor Mein Sipahi (1995) to name a few.Their career was boosted with their hit music in Aflatoon (1997), starring Akshay Kumar and Urmila. A quite catchy number "Aflatoon Aflatoon" from the same film sung by Remo Fernandes was a hit. And then some good projects came in to their hands like Ziddi (1997), salakhen (1998), Arjun Pandit (1999) and Kohram (1999) starring Amitabh Bachchan, Tabu and Nana Patekar.

They acknowledge the learning experience during the making of these films.They still have to cut a Pop album as they don’t want to be a part of the clutter. And now the chacha bhatija duo are all set to invade the small screen.
